Ongoing education for cosmetologists!
It's crucial for anyone working within the cosmetology industry to continue their education long after completing the state board requirements. We have a responsibility to seek out new and innovative ways of completing our work and satisfying our customers. In order to be considered the best at something one must constantly strive for improvement. Its a sad truth but many of the learning institutions whose focus is cosmetology fail to impart the necessary knowledge for barbers and stylists to succeed in building a devoted following. Instead only the most talented enjoy a heavy clientele and are able to generate a significant income. Luckily their are companies like Redken who help stylists focus on coloring, styling, shear cutting through their special symposiums and informational videos. Barbers on the other hand have very limited options. The Accelerated Barber Course is one example. We owe it to our clients and ourselves to strive for excellence!
