Quick Hair Color Tips By: Lady"j"

Most people want change. So why not try a new hair color. Whether its drastic or subtle just try this: If you are skeptical about coloring your hair, ask your stylist to add highlighted hair clips or tracks of the color you'd like. This will give you a chance to see if the color works before you permanently color or highlight your hair. Give it a try!

Ongoing education for cosmetologists!

It's crucial for anyone working within the cosmetology industry to continue their education long after completing the state board requirements. We have a responsibility to seek out new and innovative ways of completing our work and satisfying our customers. In order to be considered the best at something one must constantly strive for improvement. Its a sad truth but many of the learning institutions whose focus is cosmetology fail to impart the necessary knowledge for barbers and stylists to succeed in building a devoted following. Instead only the most talented enjoy a heavy clientele and are able to generate a significant income. Luckily their are companies like Redken who help stylists focus on coloring, styling, shear cutting through their special symposiums and informational videos. Barbers on the other hand have very limited options. The Accelerated Barber Course is one example. We owe it to our clients and ourselves to strive for excellence!

The Gentleman's Guide to Skin Care

The male population is one of the most under served markets with in the billion dollar skin care industry. Even with the recent metro-sexual movement that's taken place over the past 4 years there are still a surprising percentage of men who lack the routine maintenance it takes to improve the appearance of their skin. Here are just a few tips to help those struggling to improve the health of their skin:
  • Cleansing-Skin exfoliating and moisturizing can do wonders for a dull appearance
  • Shaving- Apply shaving creams in a circular motion to free ingrown hairs before you begin
  • Skin type- Knowing your skin type is important before you choose any product. My consultations are free!Click Here

Giving The Hair Industry a Makeover! Eli Brame/CEO HairsavvyLLC

Hair Savvy is an example of how important it is to "raise the bar" as hair stylists, barbers, estheticians, and all branches of the beauty industry!
  • Timely appointments
  • Quality service
  • Convenience
We must continue to push ourselves to provide the very best service to the client no matter what the cost! Long wait times, poor atmosphere, and unsanitary practices must be weeded out! In a down economy the client will demand valued services. They will expect nothing less than the best when spending their hard earned money. It is my prediction that commercialized franchises like Hair Cuttery will soon find that their clients will desire more than a well marketed average hair-cut. Let's not just "sell" quality. Let's deliver quality!
